Soccer and Volleyball Registration Minimize

Registration is now open for the 2023 seasons of CYC soccer and CYC volleyball!  Registration will close on June 30th.

Soccer is open for players who will be in Pre-K through 8th grade this fall and high school girls (9th - 12th).

Volleyball is open for players who will be in 3rd through 8th grade this fall.

Fees per sport are $95 for one child and $75 for each additional up to $250 max for children in the same household. Payments can be made by credit card during the registration process.

All families (Pre-K through 8th grade) are required to complete a concession stand or field duty session (one per athlete). You can opt out during registration for $75. Head coaches are exempt.  All assistant soccer coaches are exempt.  Two assistant volleyball coaches per team are exempt.  Note: parents of high school players do not have to work a volunteer shift. Click here to read our full points policy.

To register for soccer and/or volleyball:

1. Go to https://www.teamsideline.com/sites/cyosaintcharlesmo/current-programs

2. Scroll until you find the the Holy Spirit programs.  Look for the parish logo .  There are separate registration links for soccer and volleyball.

3. Click the Player Registration button to register players.

4. To register to coach, click the Volunteer button. It is important for all head and assistant coaches (returning and new) to register now. Our team formation process has changed and it will make the process a lot easier if we have coaches in place before the registration deadline.

Again, registration will close on June 30th.

If you have any questions, please reach out to Mike Zakrzewski or Matt Besserman for soccer or Bill Peroutka for volleyball.

Fr. Frey Field Makeover Minimize

Fr. Frey Field was officially opened with a ribbon cutting ceremony and blessing on Labor Day Monday September 6 at 5 pm. Our pastor, Fr. Bob Evans was on hand to bless the field along with HSAA President John Nero, HSAA Treasurer Pete Kielhofner, HSAA Soccer Coordinator Mike Zakrzewski, former HSAA Treasurer Ken Schrumpf,  Saint Louis Soccer Hall of Famers Jan Gettemeier and Joan Gettemeier, Blaisers President Patrick Barrett, Grant Facilitator for HSAA Jenny Flores, HSAA VP Alissa Schulte Nicks, HSAA Field Manager Dave Klaus, HSAA Recording Secretary John Keeven, HSAA VB Coordinator William G. Peroutka Jr., HSAA Corresponding Secretary Matt Besserman, HSAA CYC Rep Scott Grothoff, Ming Saelee of the Bridgeton Landfill Community Project Committee, and Elizabeth George of the St. Louis Community Foundation.

The kids took to the field within a split second of the ribbon being cut. 2021 soccer registrants were invited to participate in an hour long training session with a few of our coaches to kick off the new field activities.

The inaugural game on the field was the "Red & White Game" between our 6th grade boys and 7th grade boys. It was a great game that ended in a 4-4 draw!

From the groundbreaking back in April through the ribbon cutting on Labor Day, it's all been about one thing - getting the boys and girls of our parish, our school a
and our community an excellent field to play on. Many thanks to the St. Louis Community Foundation for believing in our vision and there support throughout
this project. Also much appreciation to them for highlighting our field renovation project on the website. You can find the article here - stlgives.org.
